Lipase is a remarkable enzyme derived from Aspergillus niger through a meticulous process of fermentation, extraction, and refinement. By employing targeted compounding techniques, lipase finds versatile applications across diverse industries including food, leather processing, animal feed, paper manufacturing, cleaning products, and bio-energy sectors.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, a specialized serine hydrolase, excels in catalyzing the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides, transforming them into glycerol and fatty acids. A distinctive aspect of this reaction is its occurrence at the oil-water interface. Additionally, lipase exhibits the ability to catalyze ester synthesis and transesterification, broadening its functional applications.
Properties
1. Temperature range: This enzyme is effective within a temperature span of 30-70ºC,
with an optimum performance temperature identified between 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: The enzyme performs effectively across a pH range from 4.0-10.0,
with an ideal pH level pinpointed at 7.5.
3. The influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Calcium (Ca2+) and Magnesium (Mg2+) notably enhance the enzyme's activity, while Manganese (Mn²+), Iron (Fe2+) and Zinc (Zn2+) can lead to inhibition, whereas Copper (Cu2+) and EDTA exhibit negligible impact on the enzyme activity.

This product is available in two forms: a liquid brown solution with an enzyme activity of 100,000 u/mL, and a solid powder form with an enzyme activity of 100,000 u/g.
The liquid enzyme boasts a pH range of 6.0-7.5 at 25°C and a bulk density of ≤1.25g/mL.
The solid enzyme showcases a fineness with an impressive 0.4mm standard sieve pass rate of ≥80%.
2. Definition of enzyme activity: For every 1g of solid enzyme powder (or 1mL of liquid enzyme), under specific temperature and pH conditions, the enzyme hydrolyzes the substrate in one minute to yield 1u mol of titratable fatty acids, defining 1 unit of enzyme activity, expressed in u/g (U/mL).

Application method
1. In flour products, lipase strengthens the gluten network structure, enhancing dough stability, air retention, and producing a brilliantly white bread core with an attractive sheen. Recommended dosage is 0.01-0.05kg per ton of flour (calculated at 100,000 units of enzyme activity). When used alongside food-grade xylanase, fungal a-amylase, and glucose oxidase, this enzyme significantly elevates noodle product quality.
2. Within the tanning industry, lipase targets and breaks down fat in leather, promoting even softening of raw materials under gentle conditions, increasing leather yield and minimizing chemical use, while reducing skin wrinkles. It is prominently used in degreasing and softening processes, with a recommended addition rate of 0.02-0.06% relative to raw material weight (activity at 100,000 units), at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Often paired with alkaline protease for optimized results.
3. Integrating this remarkable enzyme into feed formulations can unleash short-chain fats and anti-acids, significantly enhancing the efficiency of raw material usage while elevating the overall flavor profile of the feed. The typical enzyme dosage ranges from 0.01-0.05%, contingent upon the raw material quality and enzyme activity level of 100,000 units.
4. In the innovative realm of the paper industry, lipase serves a pivotal role in the mechanical pulping process and the deinking of waste paper. This enzyme effectively eradicates triglycerides from the pulp, boosting the deinking efficiency during waste paper processing. Recommended enzyme preparation dosage is 0.04-0.10L/T of pulp, with an enzyme activity of 100,000 units.
Packaging and Storage
Our liquid formulation is carefully housed in durable plastic drums, each containing 25kg. Meanwhile, the solid form is secured in sturdy woven bags, with each bag weighing 20kg.
