Lipase
Description
Derived from the renowned Aspergillus niger through a meticulous process of fermentation, extraction, and refinement, Lipase stands as a versatile marvel. With its adeptness at targeted compounding, this enzyme finds broad applications across the food industry, leather processing realms, feed sectors, papermaking, washing, and the burgeoning field of bio-energy.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, a distinguished member of serine hydrolases, excels in catalyzing the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides, transforming them into glycerol and fatty acids. A fascinating aspect of the hydrolysis reaction is its unique occurrence at the oil-water interface. Moreover, Lipase showcases its versatility by catalyzing ester synthesis and driving transesterification reactions with remarkable efficiency.
Properties
1. Temperature range: Exerting its efficacy between 30-70ºC,
The optimum performance temperature shines at a range of 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: It exhibits endurance across a pH spectrum of 4.0-10.0,
The pinnacle of its activity emerges at an optimal pH of 7.5.
3. Influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Ca2+ and Mg2+ significantly enhance the enzyme's vigor, while Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ tend to dampen its activity. However, Cu2+ and EDTA show negligible impact on enzyme functionality.
Specifications
The liquid form, a rich brown liquid, boasts a potency of 100000u/mL, while the solid variant is a concentrated powder at 100000u/g.
Liquid enzyme's pH at 25°C is harmonized between 6.0-7.5, with a bulk density threshold of ≤1.25g/mL.
Solid enzyme displays a fineness where at least 80% passes through a 0.4mm standard sieve.
2. Enzyme activity is precisely defined where 1g of the solid powder (or 1mL of liquid enzyme), under specified conditions, hydrolyzes the substrate in a minute to yield 1u mol of titratable fatty acids, equivalent to 1 unit of enzyme activity, measured in u/g (U/mL).
Conforming to the standards of GB/T23535-2009.
Application method
1. In the realm of flour products, Lipase fortifies the gluten network by repairing weak connections, enhancing dough stability, and elevating air retention, which results in bread with a luminous, white core and a bright exterior. A recommended dosage is 0.01-0.05kg per ton of flour (with enzyme activity at 100,000 units). Combining Lipase with food-grade xylanase, fungal alpha-amylase, and glucose oxidase significantly uplifts noodle quality.
2. In the tanning industry, Lipase deftly targets leather fats, uniformly softening materials under gentle conditions, boosting leather yield while minimizing chemical usage, and visibly reducing skin wrinkles. This enzyme is pivotal in degreasing and softening, used in proportions of 0.02-0.06% (relative to raw material quality, activity at 100,000 units), operating at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Often paired with alkaline protease, it optimizes industrial outcomes.
3. By incorporating this powerful enzyme into animal feed, you can unlock the potential of raw materials by releasing short-chain fatty acids and anti-acids. This not only enhances the nutritional value but also boosts the overall flavor profile of the feed. For optimal results, a general dosage of 0.01-0.05% is recommended, based on the quality of raw materials and enzyme activity of 100,000 units.
4. In the realm of paper production, lipase serves a crucial role in the processing of mechanical pulping and the deinking of waste paper. During pulping, the enzyme effectively eliminates triglycerides, while in waste paper deinking, it significantly enhances efficiency. To achieve desirable results, an enzyme preparation dosage of 0.04-0.10L per ton of pulp with enzyme activity of 100,000 units is recommended.
Packaging and storage
Our liquid enzyme solutions are securely packaged in durable plastic drums, each containing 25kg. Meanwhile, solid enzyme formulations are available in robust woven bags, with a content of 20kg per bag.
Given the biological activity of this product, it is sensitive to high temperatures, strong acids, and alkaline conditions, which can lead to enzyme inactivation. Therefore, during transportation and storage, it is imperative to shield liquid enzymes from direct sunlight, while solid enzymes require protection from both sunlight and rain. Ensure that the storage facility is kept clean, cool, and dry to maintain product integrity.
