Lipase
Description
Crafted with precision through the fermentation of Aspergillus niger, this lipase is a marvel of biotechnology. Its versatile nature, achieved through meticulous extraction and refinement, makes it indispensable across a variety of industries. From enhancing the quality of food products to refining processes in leather, feed, papermaking, washing, and bio-energy sectors, this lipase stands as a paragon of efficiency.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, a powerful serine hydrolase, excels at catalyzing the breakdown of fatty acid glycerides, transforming them into glycerol and fatty acids. This hydrolysis reaction, distinctive for occurring at the oil-water interface, is vital for numerous applications. Beyond hydrolysis, lipase also facilitates ester synthesis and transesterification reactions, showcasing its multifaceted enzymatic capabilities.
Properties
1. Temperature range: This enzyme remains active across a broad temperature spectrum, functioning effectively between 30-70ºC.
The optimum temperature range for peak performance is 55-65ºC, where it unleashes its full potential.
2. pH range: With an effective pH range from 4.0 to 10.0,
this enzyme performs optimally at a pH of 7.5, ensuring stability and efficacy.
3. Influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: The presence of Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions can significantly boost enzyme activity, whereas Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ tend to inhibit it. Cu2+ and EDTA, however, exhibit negligible effects on enzyme activity.
Specifications
Our enzyme is available in two forms: a rich, brown liquid at 100000u/mL and a fine powder at 100000u/g.
For the liquid enzyme, it maintains a pH of 6.0-7.5 at 25°C, with a bulk density of less than or equal to 1.25g/mL.
The solid enzyme boasts impressive fineness, with at least 80% passing a 0.4mm standard sieve.
2. Definition of enzyme activity: A single gram of our solid enzyme powder, or 1mL of the liquid form, can hydrolyze substrates under specific temperature and pH conditions, yielding 1u mol of titratable fatty acids per minute, defining its activity at 1 unit in u/g (U/mL).
Product standard: Our product adheres to the GB/T23535-2009 standard, ensuring quality and reliability.
Application method
1. In the realm of flour products, lipase is the key to strengthening the gluten network's weaker links. It enhances dough stability and air-holding capacity, resulting in bread with a radiant, white core and a bright, glossy appearance. The recommended dosage is 0.01-0.05kg per ton of flour, calculated at 100,000 units of enzyme activity. Pairing this enzyme with food-grade xylanase, fungal a-amylase, and glucose oxidase further elevates noodle product quality.
2. Within the tanning industry, this enzyme delicately targets the fats in leather, effortlessly softening raw materials under gentle conditions. It not only boosts leather yield while reducing chemical use but also minimizes wrinkles, delivering clear results. Ideal for degreasing and softening, it's used at 0.02-0.06% of raw material weight, with enzyme activity at 100,000 units, and operates best at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Combining with alkaline protease optimizes performance.
3. Infusing your feed with this enzyme transforms its nutritional profile by liberating short-chain fats and anti-acids, significantly enhancing raw material absorption and elevating feed flavor. Recommended usage is 0.01-0.05%, tailored to raw material quality (enzyme activity 100,000 units).
4. Elevate your paper production process with lipase, a game-changer in mechanical pulping and deinking waste paper. It effectively eliminates triglycerides in pulp, optimizing deinking efficiency. Suggested enzyme dosage: 0.04-0.10L/T pulp (enzyme activity 100,000 units).
Packaging and storage
For secure transport, liquid enzymes are encased in a 25kg plastic drum, while solid forms are neatly stored in 20kg woven bags.
Being a biologically active entity, this product is sensitive to high temperatures, strong acids, and alkalis which can deactivate the enzymes. Thus, it is crucial to shield liquid enzymes from sunlight, and both forms from rain during transit and storage. Maintain a clean, cool, and dry warehouse environment for optimal preservation.
