Lipase
Description
Lipase is crafted from Aspergillus niger through a sophisticated process of fermentation, extraction, and refinement. With its precise formulation, it finds extensive applications across diverse industries, including food production, leather processing, animal feed, papermaking, cleaning, and bio-energy solutions.
Working Mechanism
As a member of the serine hydrolase family, Lipase excels in catalyzing the breakdown of fatty acid glycerides, transforming them into glycerol and fatty acids. The hallmark of this hydrolysis is its action at the oil-water interface. Furthermore, Lipase is adept at driving ester synthesis and transesterification, showcasing its versatility.
Properties
1. Temperature range: The enzyme operates effectively between 30-70ºC,
with an optimal functioning temperature bracket of 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: Effective across a broad pH spectrum of 4.0-10.0,
with peak performance at a pH of 7.5.
3. The influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Ca2+ and Mg2+ significantly enhance enzyme activity, whereas Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ tend to inhibit it, and Cu2+ along with EDTA, seem to have no noticeable effect.
Specifications
The liquid formulation appears as a brown liquid with an enzyme activity of 100,000u/mL, while the solid state is a potent powder, boasting 100,000u/g.
Liquid enzyme maintains a pH of 6.0-7.5 at 25°C, with a bulk density not exceeding 1.25g/mL.
The solid enzyme's fineness ensures that at least 80% passes through a 0.4mm standard sieve.
2. Definition of enzyme activity: 1g of solid enzyme powder (or 1mL of liquid enzyme) can hydrolyze the substrate under specific temperature and pH conditions, in 1 minute, producing 1u mol of titratable fatty acids, equivalent to 1 unit of enzyme activity, measured in u/g (U/mL).
Product standard: GB/T23535-2009.
Application method
1. In flour-based products, Lipase strengthens the gluten network by mending weak connections, thereby enhancing dough stability, air retention, and imparting a luminous, white core to the bread. The recommended dosage is 0.01-0.05kg/T flour, considering the enzyme activity at 100,000 units. When combined with food-grade xylanase, fungal alpha-amylase, and glucose oxidase, it significantly elevates the quality of noodle products.
2. In leather processing, Lipase targets fats, effectively softening raw materials under gentle conditions, boosting leather yield while minimizing chemical use, and noticeably reducing skin wrinkles. Typically deployed in degreasing and softening stages, it is used at 0.02-0.06% based on raw material weight, with enzyme activity at 100,000 units, operating at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Often paired with alkaline protease to enhance results.
3. By incorporating this enzyme into feed, you can unlock the magic of short-chain fat release and anti-acid capabilities, boosting the efficiency of raw material utilization and enhancing feed's delightful flavor profile. Typically, the recommended dosage is 0.01-0.05% (depending on the quality of the raw materials, with enzyme activity at 100,000 units).
4. In the realm of papermaking, lipase acts as a transformative agent in mechanical pulping and waste paper deinking processes. During pulping, the enzyme efficiently eliminates triglycerides, while in deinking, it enhances efficiency. The suggested amount for enzyme preparation is 0.04-0.10L per ton of pulp (considering enzyme activity at 100,000 units).
Packaging and Storage
Liquid form is carefully packed in robust plastic drums, 25kg/drum, whereas the solid form is securely packed in woven bags, 20kg/bag.
Our product, being a biologically active substance, is sensitive to extreme conditions like high temperatures, strong acids, and strong alkalis, which could lead to enzyme inactivation. Therefore, during transportation and storage, liquid enzymes must be shielded from sunlight, and solid enzymes should be protected from both sunlight and rain. Ensure the warehouse remains clean, cool, and dry.
