Lipase
Description
Crafted from the renowned Aspergillus niger through a meticulous process of fermentation, extraction, and refinement, our Lipase stands as a versatile enzyme marvel. It finds significant applications across diverse industries such as food, leather processing, feed production, papermaking, washing, and the burgeoning bio-energy sector, offering unmatched efficiency and adaptability through its targeted compounding.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, a distinctive serine hydrolase, is adept at catalyzing the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides, transforming them into glycerol and fatty acids. A hallmark of this hydrolysis is its execution at the vital oil-water interface. Beyond this, Lipase showcases its remarkable catalytic prowess in driving ester synthesis as well as transesterification reactions, broadening its utility spectrum.
Properties
1. Temperature range: This enzyme exhibits robust effectiveness within a temperature range of 30-70ºC,
With its optimal performance shining at 55-65ºC, catering to various industrial needs.
2. pH range: Its effective pH range covers 4.0-10.0,
While it achieves peak activity in the ideal pH range of 7.5, ensuring vigorous performance across applications.
3. Influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Essential ions such as Ca2+ and Mg2+ are noted for their enhancement of the enzyme's activity, whereas Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ can act as inhibitory agents. Cu2+ and EDTA exhibit negligible impacts on the enzyme's activity.
Specifications
Our Liquid enzyme is presented as a rich brown liquid with a potency of 100,000u/mL, while the solid version is available as a fine powder, also with 100,000u/g.
The Liquid enzyme maintains a pH level (at 25°C) between 6.0-7.5, with a bulk density not exceeding 1.25g/mL.
The Solid enzyme boasts a fineness with ≥80% passing a 0.4mm standard sieve, ensuring consistent quality.
2. Defining enzyme activity: In our precise terms, 1g of solid enzyme powder (or 1mL liquid enzyme), under specified temperature and pH, can hydrolyze substrate to produce 1u mol of titratable fatty acids in just 1 minute, representing 1 unit of enzyme activity, measured as u/g (U/mL).
Product standard: Adheres to the rigorous GB/T23535-2009 benchmark.
Application method
1. In flour product applications, Lipase enhances the gluten network by reinforcing weak connections, stabilizing dough, boosting air-holding capacity, and rendering a radiant, shiny bread core. For optimal results, use 0.01-0.05kg per tonne of flour (activity measured at 100,000 units). When combined with food-grade xylanase, fungal α-amylase, and glucose oxidase, it significantly elevates noodle product quality.
2. In tanning applications, this enzyme selectively targets leather fats, promoting even raw material softening under gentle conditions, thus increasing leather yield while minimizing chemicals. It effectively reduces wrinkles, making it indispensable in degreasing and softening processes. Recommended usage: 0.02-0.06% of raw material quality (activity: 100,000 units), processed at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes, often paired with alkaline protease for enhanced effect.
3. By integrating this enzyme into feed formulations, you unlock the ability to release short-chain fatty acids and counteract acidity, significantly enhancing the efficiency of raw material utilization and the overall flavor profile of the feed. The recommended dosage ranges from 0.01-0.05%, contingent upon the quality of raw materials and an enzyme activity level of 100,000 units.
4. Within the paper industry, lipase takes on a pivotal role in both mechanical pulping and waste paper deinking processes. It effectively eliminates triglycerides during pulping and boosts deinking efficiency. Recommended enzyme preparation dosage is 0.04-0.10L per ton of pulp, with an enzyme activity of 100,000 units.
Packaging and storage
Liquid enzymes are securely housed in plastic drums, each with a capacity of 25kg, while solid enzymes are encased in woven bags weighing 20kg each.
Being a biologically active substance, this product is sensitive to high temperatures, strong acids, and alkalis, leading to potential enzyme inactivation. To ensure integrity during transport and storage, liquid enzymes must be shielded from sunlight, and solid forms should be safeguarded from both sunlight and rain. The storage facility should remain clean, cool, and dry.
