Lipase
Description
Our premium Lipase enzyme is crafted meticulously from the fermentation, extraction, and refinement process of Aspergillus niger. This versatile enzyme is a powerhouse, designed to elevate the potential across multiple industries, including food processing, leather treatment, animal feed production, papermaking, laundry solutions, and the burgeoning field of bio-energy. Experience the transformative power that only high-quality fermentation can achieve.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, a specialized serine hydrolase, showcases its remarkable ability by catalyzing the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides into fundamental components—glycerol and free fatty acids. Uniquely, this hydrolysis occurs at the distinctive oil-water interface. Beyond hydrolysis, Lipase exhibits its versatility by facilitating both ester synthesis and transesterification reactions, making it an indispensable tool in innovative industrial and scientific applications.
Properties
1. Temperature range: The enzyme operates effectively in a wide temperature spectrum of 30-70ºC,
with the pinnacle of its efficiency achieved between 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: This enzyme thrives in a broad pH range of 4.0-10.0,
achieving peak performance at a neutral pH of 7.5.
3. Influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Certain ions, such as Ca2+ and Mg2+ greatly enhance enzyme activity, whereas ions like Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ can diminish its effectiveness. Notably, Cu2+ and EDTA show negligible impact on enzyme performance, ensuring consistent reliability.
Specifications
Our enzyme is available in two forms: a robust brown liquid at 100000u/mL, and a convenient powder format at 100000u/g, catering to diverse application needs.
The liquid enzyme maintains an ideal pH range of 6.0-7.5 at 25°C and boasts a bulk density of ≤1.25g/mL.
The solid enzyme exhibits impressive fineness, with a pass rate of ≥80% through a 0.4mm standard sieve.
2. Enzyme activity is precisely defined: 1g of solid enzyme powder (or 1mL of liquid enzyme) hydrolyzes the substrate to yield 1u mol of titratable fatty acids per minute under optimal conditions, establishing it as 1 unit of enzyme activity, expressed in u/g (U/mL).
Product adheres to standard GB/T23535-2009, ensuring quality and consistency.
Application method
1. In flour-based foods, Lipase fortifies the gluten network, enhancing dough stability and air retention, resulting in a whiter, shinier bread core and a brilliant loaf appearance. Recommended dosing is 0.01-0.05kg per ton of flour (activity at 100,000 units). Combined with xylanase, fungal alpha-amylase, and glucose oxidase, it optimizes noodle quality remarkably.
2. In the tanning industry, Lipase delicately softens fats in leather, maximizing yield and minimizing chemical use, leading to smoother, less wrinkled leather. Applied at 0.02-0.06% (raw material quality basis, 100,000 units), it operates best at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Pair with alkaline protease for superior results.
3. Elevate your feed's potential by incorporating this enzyme, which liberates short-chain fats and neutralizes anti-acids, thereby enhancing flavor and raw material usage. Typically, a dosage of 0.01-0.05% is recommended, tailored to raw material quality and enzyme activity of 100,000 units.
4. In the paper industry, unleash the power of lipase in mechanical pulping and waste paper deinking. This enzyme efficiently removes triglycerides in pulp and boosts deinking performance in recycled paper. Optimal enzyme dosage ranges between 0.04-0.10L per ton of pulp, with enzyme activity at 100,000 units.
Packaging and storage
Liquid formulations are securely packed in plastic drums, each containing 25kg, while solid forms are stored in woven bags at 20kg per bag.
Preserve the integrity of this biologically active product by safeguarding it from high temperatures, strong acids, and alkalis, which cause enzyme inactivation. During transit and storage, liquid enzymes should be shielded from sunlight, while solid enzymes require protection from both sunlight and rain. Maintain a clean, cool, and dry warehouse environment.
Factory Plant
Certification
Derrick's enzyme has been certified and accredited by international management systems, including
ISO9001, FSSC22000, KOSHER, HALAL, FAMI-QS, ensuring top-tier quality and safety.
