Lipase
Description
Derived from the sophisticated fermentation, extraction, and refinement of Aspergillus niger, Lipase is a versatile powerhouse. Its targeted compounding allows it to seamlessly integrate across a multitude of industries—including food, leather processing, feed, papermaking, washing, and bio-energy—offering unparalleled enhancement and efficiency.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, belonging to the serine hydrolase class, possesses the remarkable ability to catalyze the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides, producing glycerol and fatty acids. A unique aspect of this hydrolysis reaction is its operation at the oil-water interface. Beyond this, Lipase also facilitates ester synthesis and transesterification, showcasing its multifaceted nature.
Properties
1. Temperature range: Lipase operates effectively between temperatures of 30-70ºC,
with an optimal performance in the range of 55-65ºC, ensuring reliable results.
2. pH range: It maintains efficacy across a pH spectrum of 4.0-10.0,
with peak efficiency at a pH of 7.5, allowing for versatile application.
3. Influence of metal ions on enzyme activity is notable: Ca2+ and Mg2+ significantly enhance enzyme activity, while Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ tend to inhibit it. However, Cu2+ and EDTA exhibit negligible effects, ensuring consistent performance.
Specifications
Available in two forms: a rich brown liquid at 100000u/mL or a fine, powdery solid at 100000u/g.
The liquid enzyme sustains a pH of 6.0-7.5 at 25°C, with a bulk density of ≤1.25g/mL.
The solid enzyme guarantees fineness, with a 0.4mm standard sieve pass rate of ≥80%.
2. Enzyme activity is defined by 1g of solid enzyme powder (or 1mL liquid enzyme) hydrolyzing the substrate within one minute under specific temperature and pH conditions to yield 1umol of titratable fatty acids, equating to 1 unit of enzyme activity, measured in u/g (U/mL).
Product standard adheres to GB/T23535-2009, ensuring top-notch quality and reliability.
Application method
1. In flour products, Lipase strengthens the gluten network, enhancing dough stability, and boosting air retention, resulting in bread with a whiter, shinier core and an appearance that's brilliantly bright. The recommended dosage ranges from 0.01-0.05kg/T flour (enzyme activity calculated at 100,000 units). When paired with food-grade xylanase, fungal a-amylase, and glucose oxidase, it elevates noodle product quality comprehensively.
2. Within the tanning industry, Lipase effectively targets fats in leather, achieving uniform softening under gentle conditions. This boosts leather yield while minimizing chemical usage and visibly reducing wrinkles. Its application is crucial during degreasing and softening, with a suggested addition of 0.02-0.06% based on raw material quality (enzyme activity at 100,000 units) and activity maintained at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Often used alongside alkaline protease for optimal results.
3. By incorporating this exceptional enzyme into feed, you can unleash the power of short-chain fats and anti-acids, elevating the utilization rate of raw materials. This not only enhances the feed's efficiency but also amplifies its flavor profile. The recommended dosage ranges from 0.01% to 0.05% based on raw material quality, with an enzyme activity of 100,000 units.
4. Within the paper industry, lipase serves as a pivotal tool in mechanical pulping and waste paper deinking processes. In pulping, it adeptly removes triglycerides, while in waste paper deinking, it significantly boosts deinking efficiency. The optimal enzyme preparation addition is between 0.04-0.10L per ton of pulp, supporting an enzyme activity of 100,000 units.
Packaging and storage
The liquid formulation is securely packed in robust 25kg plastic drums, while the solid variant finds its home in durable 20kg woven bags.
This product, being a biologically active substance, demands cautious handling as exposure to high temperatures, strong acids, or alkalis may lead to enzyme inactivation. During transport and storage, it's imperative to shield liquid enzymes from direct sunlight and protect solid enzymes from both sunlight and rain. Maintain a clean, cool, and dry warehouse environment.
