Working Mechanism
Lipase stands out as a highly efficient serine hydrolase, masterfully catalyzing the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides into glycerol and fatty acids. This remarkable reaction unfolds at the vital oil-water interface. Furthermore, Lipase is adept at catalyzing ester synthesis and transesterification reactions, contributing to its multifaceted applications.

1. Temperature range: Revel in its remarkable effectiveness within a temperature span of 30-70ºC.
Yet, the prime temperature sweet spot is between 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: The enzyme showcases versatility with an effective pH range of 4.0-10.0.
Its optimal pH, however, is a precise 7.5.
3. The influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Experience enhanced activity with Ca2+ and Mg2+ , while Mn²+offers notable promotion. Conversely, Fe2+ and Zn2+ may inhibit activity. Nonetheless, Cu2+ and EDTA show minimal impact, ensuring enzyme stability.

2. Within the tanning industry, Lipase efficiently targets leather fats, ensuring even softening and minimizing chemical use, resulting in higher yield and fewer wrinkles. Optimal use involves 0.02-0.06% addition (100,000 units), applied at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Often paired with alkaline protease to enhance results.

By incorporating this enzyme into animal feed, you can unleash a cascade of benefits: it releases short-chain fats, mitigates acidity, enhances raw material utilization, and significantly improves the feed's flavor profile. For optimal results, the recommended dosage ranges between 0.01-0.05% based on the quality of raw materials with an enzyme activity of 100,000 units.
4. Within the paper industry, lipase plays a transformative role in the processing of mechanical pulping and waste paper deinking. It efficiently removes triglycerides from pulp and significantly boosts the deinking process of waste paper.
