Lipase
Description
Crafted through an intricate process of fermentation, extraction, and refinement, Lipase originates from Aspergillus niger. This remarkable enzyme finds its versatile application across a myriad of industries, including food, leather processing, feed, papermaking, washing, and bio-energy sectors. Its targeted compounding amplifies its utility, making it an indispensable ingredient for enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, a distinguished member of the serine hydrolase family, seamlessly facilitates the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides, yielding glycerol and fatty acids. This pivotal reaction occurs at the crucial oil-water interface, showcasing its unique operational capability. Beyond this, Lipase is adept at catalyzing ester synthesis and transesterification reactions, expanding its scope of industrial applications.
Properties
1. Temperature range: Lipase operates efficiently within a temperature spectrum of 30-70ºC,
with the optimum performance observed between 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: The enzyme maintains high activity within a pH range of 4.0-10.0,
reaching its peak effectiveness at a pH of 7.5.
3. The influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Metal ions such as Ca2+ and Mg2+ are known to significantly enhance enzyme activity, whereas Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ tend to inhibit it. Meanwhile, Cu2+ and EDTA show no pronounced effect on its activity.
Specifications
Available in two forms, the liquid variant is a rich brown liquid at 100000u/mL, and the solid form is a finely crafted powder at 100000u/g.
The liquid enzyme's pH levels range from 6.0-7.5 at 25°C, with a bulk density not exceeding 1.25g/mL.
Solid enzyme fineness stands out, with a remarkable 80% passing through a 0.4mm standard sieve.
2. Definition of enzyme activity: 1g of solid enzyme powder or 1mL of liquid enzyme, when subjected to specific temperature and pH conditions, can hydrolyze the substrate in one minute to generate 1u mol of titratable fatty acids, equivalent to 1 unit of enzyme activity, measured as u/g (U/mL).
Product standard: Complies with GB/T23535-2009.
Application method
1. In flour products, Lipase fortifies the gluten network, stabilizing dough and enhancing its air-holding capacity. This results in a whiter, shinier bread core with an appealingly bright appearance. The recommended dosage is 0.01-0.05kg per ton of flour at 100,000 units of enzyme activity. Combining this enzyme with food-grade xylanase, fungal alpha-amylase, and glucose oxidase further elevates noodle product quality.
2. Within the tanning industry, this enzyme specifically targets leather fats, effectively softening raw materials under gentle conditions. This process boosts leather yield, minimizes chemical use, and reduces wrinkles, delivering a clear improvement. It is optimally used in degreasing and softening processes at 0.02-0.06% of raw material weight, with 100,000 units of enzyme activity, at 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. For enhanced results, it is often paired with alkaline protease.
3. By integrating this enzyme into feed, you unlock the potential to release short-chain fats and anti-acids, significantly enhancing the raw materials' utilization rate and considerably enriching the flavor of the feed. The recommended dosage is a minimal 0.01-0.05% (calculated on the basis of the raw materials' quality and an enzyme activity of 100,000 units).
4. In the realm of the paper industry, lipase stands as a beacon in the processing of mechanical pulping and the intricate art of waste paper deinking. During pulping, this remarkable enzyme effectively eliminates triglycerides within the pulp, while also boosting the deinking efficiency when dealing with waste paper. The suggested enzyme preparation dosage is 0.04-0.10L/T of pulp (with enzyme activity at a notable 100,000 units).
Packaging and Storage
Our liquid enzyme is elegantly packed in robust plastic drums, each holding 25kg. Meanwhile, the solid variant is securely packed in woven bags, each weighing in at 20kg.
This product, a marvel of biological activity, is susceptible to the inactivating effects of high temperatures, and strong acids or alkalis. Hence, during both transportation and storage, it's crucial that liquid enzymes are shielded from sunlight, while solid enzymes must be safeguarded against both sunlight and rain. Ensure the warehouse is immaculately maintained, cool, and dry for optimal enzyme preservation.
