Product Description

Lipase
Description
Lipase, a marvel of biotechnology, is meticulously crafted from Aspergillus niger through a sophisticated process of fermentation, extraction, and refinement. This powerhouse enzyme finds its versatility in an array of industries including food production, leather processing, animal feed, papermaking, laundry, and the burgeoning bio-energy sector, thanks to its meticulously engineered composition.
Working Mechanism
Lipase, a distinguished serine hydrolase, excels in catalyzing the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides, transforming them into valuable glycerol and fatty acids. The hallmark of this enzymatic reaction is its unique ability to occur at the oil-water interface. Beyond hydrolysis, Lipase also shines in catalyzing ester synthesis and transesterification reactions, demonstrating its remarkable enzymatic versatility.
Properties
1. Temperature range: This enzyme operates effectively in a wide temperature spectrum of 30-70ºC,
with its peak performance gracefully witnessed within an optimal range of 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: Lipase exhibits robust activity across a pH range of 4.0-10.0,
with its peak efficacy beautifully observed at an ideal pH of 7.5.
3. Influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Ca2+ and Mg2+ serve as significant enhancers of enzymatic activity, whereas Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ tend to inhibit the enzyme. Meanwhile, Cu2+ and EDTA exhibit negligible impact on enzyme performance.
Specifications
Offered as a brown liquid with a potency of 100,000u/mL, or as a finely powdered form with 100,000u/g, Lipase is crafted for precision.
The liquid enzyme's pH is ideally positioned between 6.0-7.5 at 25°C, with a density of ≤1.25g/mL, ensuring reliability and consistency in application.
The solid enzyme boasts a fineness with a pass rate of ≥80% through a 0.4mm standard sieve, optimizing its usability in diverse applications.
2. Definition of enzyme activity: Enzyme activity is defined by the capability of 1g of solid enzyme powder (or 1mL of liquid enzyme) to hydrolyze substrate under specific conditions, generating 1u mol of titratable fatty acids per minute, quantified as 1 unit of enzyme activity, measured in u/g (U/mL).
Adhering to the esteemed product standard GB/T23535-2009, our Lipase guarantees quality and performance.
Application method
1. In flour products, Lipase fortifies the gluten network's weak spots, enhancing dough stability and air retention, yielding a bread core that is both white and lustrous. A dosage of 0.01-0.05kg/T of flour (based on 100,000 enzyme units) is recommended. When complemented with food-grade xylanase, fungal a-amylase, and glucose oxidase, it profoundly uplifts the noodle quality.
2. Within the tanning industry, Lipase deftly targets and softens the leather's fat content under mild conditions, boosting yield and minimizing chemical usage, while significantly reducing skin wrinkles. In degreasing and softening processes, a 0.02-0.06% addition (by raw material quality, enzyme activity at 100,000 units) is optimal, with a condition of 30-40°C for 30-120 minutes. Often paired with alkaline protease, this enzyme maximizes efficacy.
3. Infusing your feed with this potent enzyme blend liberates short-chain fats and anti-acids, significantly enhancing the raw materials' utilization rate while enriching the feed's flavor. Recommended dosage: 0.01-0.05% (based on the quality of raw materials, enzyme activity 100,000 units).
4. In the world of paper manufacturing, lipase plays a crucial role in mechanical pulping and the deinking of waste paper. During pulping, it eradicates triglycerides from pulp and boosts deinking efficiency for waste paper. Optimal enzyme preparation dosage: 0.04-0.10L/T pulp (enzyme activity 100,000 units).
Packaging and Storage
Our liquid products are securely packed in robust 25kg plastic drums, while our solid forms are provided in sturdy 20kg woven bags.
To preserve the enzyme's biological integrity, it is crucial to shield liquid enzymes from sunlight and solid enzymes from both sunlight and rain during transit and storage. Store in a clean, cool, dry warehouse to prevent inactivation by high temperatures, strong acids, or alkalis.
