Product Description

Lipase
Description
Lipase is a remarkable enzyme derived from Aspergillus niger through a meticulous process of fermentation, extraction, and refinement. Its versatile nature allows it to be effectively utilized across a diverse range of industries, including food production, leather processing, animal feed, paper manufacturing, cleaning products, and bio-energy generation.
Working Mechanism
Lipase is an exceptional serine hydrolase enzyme that efficiently catalyzes the hydrolysis of fatty acid glycerides, resulting in the production of glycerol and fatty acids. A distinctive characteristic of this hydrolysis reaction is its occurrence at the oil-water interface. Furthermore, this enzyme holds the potential to catalyze ester synthesis and transesterification reactions, enhancing its functional utility.
Properties
1. Temperature range: This enzyme operates effectively across a temperature range of 30-70ºC,
The ideal temperature for maximum activity lies between 55-65ºC.
2. pH range: Its effective pH range spans from 4.0 to 10.0,
With an optimal pH range pegged at 7.5 for peak performance.
3. Influence of metal ions on enzyme activity: Metal ions such as Ca2+ and Mg2+ dynamically enhance enzyme activity, whereas Mn²+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ act as inhibitors. Cu2+ and EDTA, however, exhibit negligible effect on enzymatic activity.
Specifications
Available as a liquid form with a rich brown hue, boasting an activity of 100,000u/mL, or as a solid powder with an equivalent activity of 100,000u/g.
Liquid enzyme characteristics include a pH (at 25°C) ranging from 6.0 to 7.5, and a bulk density not exceeding 1.25g/mL.
Solid enzyme fineness is characterized by passing an 0.4mm standard sieve at a rate of ≥80%.
2. Enzyme activity definition: 1g solid enzyme powder (or 1mL liquid enzyme), under specific temperature and pH conditions, hydrolyzes the substrate for 1 minute, producing 1µmol of titratable fatty acids, equating to 1 unit of enzyme activity, expressed as u/g (U/mL).
Product standard: Complies with GB/T23535-2009.
Application method
1. In flour product applications, Lipase enhances the gluten network's integrity, boosting dough stability, improving its air-holding capacity, and resulting in bread with a whiter, shinier core and a radiant crust. Recommended dosage is 0.01-0.05kg/T flour (based on 100,000 units of enzyme activity). When combined with food-grade xylanase, fungal α-amylase, and glucose oxidase, it significantly elevates the overall quality of noodle products.
2. Within the tanning industry, this enzyme targets fats in leather, ensuring uniform softening of raw materials under mild conditions. It increases leather yield while minimizing chemical usage, significantly reducing skin wrinkles. Commonly applied in degreasing and softening processes at a dosage of 0.02-0.06% (based on raw material quality, with an enzyme activity of 100,000 units), it is most effective at 30-40°C over 30-120 minutes. It is frequently paired with alkaline protease to optimize results.
3. By incorporating this remarkable enzyme blend into feed, you can unleash the power of short-chain fat and anti-acid release, significantly boosting raw material utilization and enhancing overall feed flavor. The recommended dosage is a mere 0.01-0.05% (calculated on the quality of raw materials with enzyme activity at 100,000 units), ensuring efficiency and efficacy in every application.
4. In the innovative paper industry, lipase plays a vital role in both mechanical pulping and waste paper deinking processes. This enzyme efficiently removes triglycerides from pulp, bolstering deinking efficiency for waste paper. For optimal results, incorporate 0.04-0.10L/T pulp of enzyme preparation, with activity level set at 100,000 units, to achieve superior pulp quality and deinking success.
Packaging and Storage
This exceptional liquid product is securely packaged in robust plastic drums of 25kg each, while the solid form is carefully contained within durable woven bags, weighing 20kg per bag, ensuring optimal preservation and transportation.
As a biologically active substance, this product's enzymes are sensitive to high temperatures, strong acids, and alkalis which may cause inactivation. During transit and storage, protect liquid enzymes from sunlight, and shield solid enzymes from both sunlight and rain. Ensure the warehouse remains impeccably clean, cool, and dry to maintain enzyme potency.
